Research team led by Jia Jinfeng and Qian Dong from SJTU Department of Physics has made a major breakthrough in the research area of Topological Insulators/ Superconductor Interface. The research paper, with SJTU Department of Physics as the first author affiliation and corresponding author affiliation, is to be published in Science magazine and has been published online in advance on March 15, 2012.
The progress, made with the team's thin film fabricating technology and In situ characterization techniques advantages, is appraised by Science reviewers as "a breakthrough" and "a tremendous experimental feat" in Materials science.
