Winner of SJTU President's Award 2012, she is outstanding in many fields but there is no doubt that her most amazing achievement lies in scientific research. Till now, she has published 28 papers in core journals, among which 18 with lead authorship. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Tianjin University of Technology in 2007 and since then became a PhD candidate at SJTU.

Research team led by Jia Jinfeng and Qian Dong from SJTU Department of Physics has made a major breakthrough in the research area of Topological Insulators/ Superconductor Interface. The research paper, with SJTU Department of Physics as the first author affiliation and corresponding author affiliation, is to be published in Science magazine and has been published online in advance on March 15, 2012.

Mr. Zhou Wei, a Ph.D. student in the research group led by Prof. Sun Hong in the Department of Physics at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, recently published a paper in Physical Review Letters, one of the most prestigious journals in physics (“Soft Bond-Deformation Paths in Superhard γ-Boron”×Phys. Rev. Lett., vol.105, p.215503 (2010))
